Best time to go – Like many areas of the world South Africa does have a “rainy season” which is typically in the winter.  If you are planning a beach vacation this would not be the time to go.  From April to August would be the best time to go.  If you are traveling to the romantic wine lands, Fall is beautiful time to visit and enjoy the cooler temperatures and fall colors.

There are many tours that take you on a wine tasting journey. Along the way you will find a few distilleries where they will show you how spirits are made such as brandy, vodka, rum and more.

People may not realize it but South African is quite diverse. You will find all walks of life from native to Chinese, Dutch and German. The Bat Centre is for the cultural enthusiast. The center has many visual and performance artists from all over the world. You will find galleries, little shops, restaurants and all kinds to enjoy.
